Law Enforcement Councils

Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council - SEMLEC is a mutual aid consortium comprised of resources from the police departments of 29 cities and towns.

Metropolitcal Law Enforcement Council - METRO-LEC is a consortium of more than 46 local police and sheriff departments in the south metropolitan Boston area which covers 600 square miles and has a corresponding residential population of 850,000 people.

Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council - CCRLEC exists to enable its member agencies to share resources during those times that a single agency may not have sufficient resources to respond to unusual occurrences such as natural or man-made disasters, school or workplace violence, aircraft accidents, major police deployments during special events and other situations requiring exceptional police actions.
