Over the last few months the new Cyber Range at Bridgewater State University has been humming with SRAC sponsored simulations. Across 5 half-day offerings, the team at BSU along with experts from CyberTrust Massachusetts have run simulations directed at common municipal cyber incidents. Members of SRAC communities have gotten hands-on experience with realistic cyber incidents focusing on mirroring real-world disruptions.

Local WCVB Channel 5 attended a November offering and produced a small story about it which can be seen here. Meghan Martinez, director of Cyber Range Programs at CyberTrust Massachusetts said “One of the highlights that we’re trying to cover here at CyberTrust and Support is to get folks thinking about whether they have a cyber incident response plan, and – if they do – how often are they reviewing it, testing it?”.
